Besides nurturing the body, there are so many amazing links between cooking, mindfulness and mental health. As part of our new year regime we have teamed up with a number of fitness bosses to bring you a series of online classes focusing on physical and mental health through food. A combination of learning, mindfulness and movement. The class will start with a 45 minute cooking lesson where you will learn how to make a nutritious breakfast of curried shakshuka, chai tea and homemade flatbreads followed by a 30 minute Yoga class with Edwina focused on centering the body and mind.
The first of this series will be in collaboration with Edwina and held on 6th February 2021. Edwina has been teaching open level vinyasa for 2 years and was early to switch things over to zoom at the beginning of lockdown last march. She loves the community the virtual classroom provides and particularly how its allowed people who might otherwise not be seen dead in a studio to explore the practice at their own pace and from the comfort of their own homes. Her playful sequences tune into the body and slow the mind. She loves to mindfully guide you through minute details of the anatomy, translating her deep understanding of the body into practice in a fun accessible way which allows you to really get each posture and turn up your breath. She’ll leave you feeling grounded, strong and ready to nurture your body with a delicious wholesome meal.
