Join esteemed art historian Linda Bolton for the next Art Talks session at Frameless as we unpack the Romanticism movement, focusing on the Romantic artists of the 19th century and how they revolutionized landscape painting.
Reacting to the Industrial Revolution, artists such as J.M.W. Turner and Caspar David Friedrich used the staggering beauty and unrelenting drama of our natural world to communicate the deepest human emotions. Join Linda as she uncovers the artistic, social, and intellectual secrets of these famous paintings, and why they are still so relevant to our 21st-century lives. Tickets include your Art Talks lecture, followed by general access to the main Frameless galleries to enjoy at your own pace.
This is a one time event with limited tickets so book in advance to secure your place.
