Description
Duo chef Jeremy Chan and director Ire Hassan-Odukale have found a permanent home for their pop-up Ikoyi in the upscale St James's Market.
Ikoyi is dedicated to cooking West African cuisine; particularly from Nigeria, Senegal and Ghana. Signature dishes include plantain with smoked scotch bonnet and raspberry dust alongside Jerusalem artichoke moin moin. Jeremy Chan has previously worked in kitchens such as Dinner by Heston Blumenthal and joins Ire Hassan-Odukale as they aim to make more people aware of Africa's diverse culinary traditions.
Expect a low-lit yet inviting interior, with attentive service. Working closely with Max and Noel Venning of Three Sheets, Ikoyi has created a drinks list which can be enjoyed at the bar or paired with food. Tuck into small snacks at the bar or experience the full force of Ikoyi with its tasting menu.
