A female-led project is opening in Waterloo and it looks set to be London's most beautiful new space. Hello Darling is the work of design duo Darling and Edge (Beauty and the Feast, Gingerline and Alice's Adventure Underground Bar) and Masterchef winner Natalie Coleman (Le Gavroche and St John's), and sits next to The Old Vic.

Combining amazing set design with homely vibes, the restaurant will be a myriad of spaces, each curated and designed differently, from the large dining room which includes a fresco ceiling through to a bathtub in which to sip cocktails or a butterfly-filled library. Spread across four floors, the roomy venue will aim to cater to date nights, private hires and pre-theatre dinners, and is open Monday - Saturday.

When it comes to food, the menu has a fresh and sharing concept, with Coleman combining seasonal British ingredients to create plates such as smoked haddock scotch egg and seaweed, and crispy halloumi with slow roast tomato ragu. Cocktails capture both the beauty and floral essence of Hello Darling with drinks that require audience participation, including sharing jugs and alcohol on the side.
