Breadstall

Description

Breadstall brings a fresh take on pizza to Soho with a bakery-first mindset that sets it apart from the usual slice shops. Originally a cult-favourite van on Northcote Road, it’s now found a permanent home on Berwick Street, where the vibe is more flour-dusted bakery than neon-lit pizzeria. The interiors are stripped-back and functional, with tiled counters, pops of colour, and a big focus on transparency. Daily updates on dough, flour, and water temps are scrawled up for all to see, giving it the feel of a working bakery rather than a flashy chain.

The brainchild of Honest Burgers co-founder Dorian Waite and baker Sebastian Vince, Breadstall is all about the craft. Look forward to a twice-baked, slow-fermented biga dough that’s light, crisp, and made to be shared by the quarter, half, or whole. It’s pizza made with a baker’s precision, and that attention to detail has helped them carve out a niche in London’s crowded pizza scene. No gimmicks, no faux-Italian nostalgia - just great dough, baked right.
