Wedge Issue Pizza

Description

With its Clerkenwell branch thriving, Wedge Issue Pizza has expanded its reach, opening a second site in Shoreditch. Turning a few heads and hoping to change the way we think of pizza, the team have stood out thanks to their West Coast-style thin crust pizzas and impressive vegan options.

The new site is based on Bethnal Green Road, right in the bustle and buzz of Shoreditch. Primarily designed for East London's take-away crowds, the venue itself only fits 12 people and is decorated in a way that sticks to the restaurant's rustic and rugged brand. Importantly, the team have pulled together a line-up of craft beers and real ales, created by some the most renowned breweries both in Britain and America.

But, of course, it's the pizza menu that rightfully steals the limelight. Alongside their signature dishes, such as The London Fields and The Maribel - made from crushed meatballs and spicy chorizo respectively - the menu offers vegan-friendly pizzas made using vegan chocolate, mock meatballs and vegan sausages.
