One of Europe's finest restaurant groups for Basque food now has a venue in Shoreditch, East London. Founded in Barcelona way back in 1996, Sagardi has since grown its reputation across Spain and beyond for delivering a top quality gastro experience in elegant yet relaxed surroundings.
Sagardi London is based on Curtain Road, where they prepare the world-famous “txuleton” beef steak that the grills of Basque barbecues have perfected over the course of many years. Premium cows that have lived for many years in complete freedom with a 100% natural diet.
Signature dishes also include the pan-fried "Txistorra" sausage, "Almalabra" red tuna and salted cod omelette cooked "Roxario" style, all served in the main restaurant space, characterised by its stylish interiors and a centrepiece Charcoal Basque Grill.
Seasonal vegetables and dishes accompany this exciting menu which are all grown in their own allotments back home and delivered daily.
The restaurant also features a separate "Pintxos Bar" where guests can unwind while sampling something from the range of regional beers and excellent Basque wines.

The private room is a dramatically designed private dining space following the trend of the Basque Cider Houses with an extensive use of industrial steel, huge wooden tables and bare concrete floors. Based on the Basque “txokos” (gastronomical societies) where the Basques come together to cook, experiment with new ways of cooking, dine and socialise together.
Retained with plenty of warmth and elegance, the hugely versatile room can accommodate up to 48 people seated and 90 standing with the ability to be divided into smaller rooms for the more intimate events. Open seven days a week serving lunch and dinner, 48 guests can be accommodated on three long tables, 30 on one table and up to 90 guests for standing cocktail receptions and parties.
