What they say:

Ricker Restaurants have finally followed up their Soho classic La Bodega Negra with the much anticipated Casa Negra. Enter directly into a bar area that combines antique rugs with miss-match beach furniture and a large tin shack bar. Next door is the restaurant, where more beach furniture, candles and Mexican music provide a classically Mexican vibe in which to enjoy sharing dishes like esquites (street style corn salad), grilled market fish and ‘caramelised chihuahua cheese’ tacos. They also do some cracking Mexican beers to give a good mix to the frozen Margaritas and Tequila Espressos.

What we say:

Located in Shoreditch, Casa Negra carries a trendier edge than its Soho sister. The cool decor and Mexican theme is the same, but all with a slightly lighter tug on your wallet. Expect plenty of cracking South American style cocktails, a great party vibe and a light sprinkling of Shoreditch's hipster elite. Perfect for chilled drinks, wow your friends with this seamlessly cool Mexican bar. Downstairs this fun-time party bar really kicks off in the mysterious, soon to open, Casa Playroom clubland…
