Burger & Beyond is opening its first bricks and mortar site in east London and it's all about drinking snacks and small plates. Taking over the space which was once home to Pho, the burger connoisseurs have enlisted the help of interior designers Run For The Hills to transform the restaurant into a sexy new two-storey space. Think modern black features and raw steel metal set against stone, vintage bricks and lime wash paint. Get cosy on cushioned leather banquettes, order at the huge concrete bar or head down to the basement where you'll find snug caves.
With over three years serving their infamous burgers at residencies from KERB to Street Feast and Camden Assembly, it's now time for Burger & Beyond to create an extended menu with sides and small plates in the mix. Expect krispie fried chicken, deep fried lamb nuggets with a burnt onion dip and cured egg yolk with lardo on toast, alongside sides like bone marrow gravy and cheese and truffle tots. There's even deep-fried blueberry pie if you have room for dessert.
