The menu at Camillo Benso focuses on classic Italian dishes, with quality ingredients delivered daily from regions like Campania, but at lower prices than usual for the upmarket central London location. Taking over the space that was formerly Assunta Madre, the elegant eatery offers the same popular dishes as its Milan sister restaurant; like the beef tartare, ravioli capresi and signature spaghetti alla nerano. Desserts are created by artisan pastry chefs, with highlights including the sfogliatelle and traditional tiramisu. No meal would be complete without a decent drink and the slinky cocktail bar also serves up of-the-moment aperitivos, which you can sip on while soaking up live music in the evenings.
