MEET THE MAKER: SABATE' I COCA FROM CATALUNA
Wednesday, 28th February, 6.30 pm, Ibérica Marylebone
Join us in our intimate dining room at Ibérica Marylebone as we meet the winemaker Marcel Sabate' who will personally guide you through the tasting of four outstanding wines from Cataluna. Wines will be served at 100ml measure and served alongside paired nibbles from the Ibérica's delicatessen.

ABOUT SABATE' I COCA
With roots dating to 1855, the Sabaté í Coca family, helmed by fourth-gen vintners Marcel and Josep Sabaté, cultivates grapes in Bitlles Valley, Penedès. Specializing in exceptional sparkling wines, they are Corpinnat members, part of a breakaway movement focusing on top-tier, traditional method sparklers from Penedès' core. Certified organic since 2021, the estate spans 40 hectares with 18 unique terroirs, fermenting each separately. Sabaté í Coca's premium line features single-plot or single-variety wines with extended lees aging. Contrarily, the Castellroig range blends wines from diverse sites. Their dedication to terroir, indigenous grapes, and organic practices defines their winemaking philosophy.
