Four-Course Wine Dinner with Planeta

Join us on 22 November between 6 and 9pm for our fourth wine dinner, hosted by Planeta wines.
This exclusive event will take place in our restaurant and will be a chance to meet the winemaker, learn about the grapes, the process and most importantly, try some amazing wines that have been specifically paired with each course on the bespoke brasserie menu.
The wines from these family-owned vineyards are grown in five different wine regions all over Sicily to capture the nuances of the varying altitude, climate and soil types. We have created a menu designed to bring out the notes and flavours of these Sicilian classics.

AMUSE BOUCHE
Shellfish chowder, fire-roasted corn.
Paired with – The aromatic, crisp flavours and tropical notes of the Terebinto Grillo 21 from the Menfi region both contrasts with and compliments the rich flavour of the chowder.

STARTER
Thornback ray wing, capers and raisin, béurre noisette.
Paired with – The light and elegant forest fruit and maritime-influenced Rose Sicilia DOC 21 Chardonnay balances the flavours of the ray wing, the tartness of the capers and nuttiness of the béurre noisette .

MAIN COURSE
Salt marsh lamb rack and slow cooked shoulder, pommes de terre écrasée, Provençal vegetables.
Paired with – The duo of Cerasuolo di Vittoria 20 and Plumbago Nero d'Avola Sicilia with their light but very intense fresh berry notes and elegant dark fruit flavours beautifully combines with the richness of lamb and creaminess of the mashed potato.

DESSERT
Orange parfait, marmalade, honey and orange blossom pan d’épices.
Paired with – The forest fruits of the Rose Sicilia DOC 21 once again come in to play adding a light and elegant companion to the citrus zing of the orange parfait and marmalade.
Tickets are £50 per person for the bespoke brasserie menu and paired wine.

It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
