Description
CLAP London is a high-end Japanese dining destination nestled in the heart of Knightsbridge, spread across three floors of immersive culinary and sensory experiences. Designed by Noriyoshi Muramatsu of Studio Glitt, the interiors blend playful Tokyo-inspired elements with refined elegance.
Guests are welcomed by a dramatic entrance adorned with repurposed flags, leading to the sixth-floor main restaurant, where an open kitchen, sushi and robata counters, and a sleek, modern aesthetic set the stage. The seventh floor houses a rooftop bar and terrace with panoramic views of Harrods and central London, offering a vibrant nightlife atmosphere complete with resident DJs and Japanese-inspired cocktails.
The restaurant is part of the ADDMIND Hospitality Group, known for its innovative concepts across the Middle East. CLAP London is helmed by French culinary director Renald Epie, who brings a fusion of traditional Japanese techniques and contemporary Western influences to the menu. Signature dishes include wagyu beef tartare with biwa caviar, rock shrimp tempura, and black cod miso, alongside an authentic omakase experience.
Since its London debut, CLAP has garnered praise from the Michelin Guide and design aficionados alike, establishing itself as a must-visit for those seeking a bold, sensory-driven take on modern Japanese cuisine.
