Angelo Musa

Description

He’s a Pastry World Champion, Best Craftsman of France, and Executive Pastry Chef at the Michelin-starred Hôtel Plaza Athénée in Paris – and now, Angelo Musa has opened a patisserie restaurant on the Fourth Floor at Harrods.

Prepare for culinary artistry and sheer indulgence in equal measure. The menu – a range of Musa’s much-adored creations, alongside a few fresh recipes – invites you to explore the finest patisserie France has to offer, through the eyes of one of its most esteemed chefs.

Our suggestion? Start with the signature 100% Vanille. Showcasing a single flavour through four layers of sponge cake, croustillant duja, crémeux and mousse, it flawlessly represents Musa’s style of enhancing the opulence of ingredients through skilfully executed textures.

Equally alluring is Musa’s prize-winning dessert for the World Pastry Cup. named Papilio (which means a family of butterflies in French), it combines chocolate sponge, mousse and cremeux with coconut, passion fruit, and mango caramel, and a dark-chocolate glaze, for a patisserie that tastes every bit as extravagant as it sounds.

These join the likes of a delectably creamy hazelnut Paris-Brest, a stunning strawberry and mint tartlet, a grapefruit-infused vanilla mille-feuille, and more, as well as a selection of savoury options – all to be enjoyed in bright, refined surroundings with your pick of premium tea, coffee, juice, wine, or cocktail.
