What they say:

With their first opening, Primeur, topping all foodie's North London list, Chef David Gingell and manager Jérémie Cometto-Lingenheim have opened a second venue in Lower Holloway. Hidden away in a cobbled courtyard, Westerns Laundry is based in a 1950s building decorated with carefully curated pieces, including communal tables, discontinued strip lights and crockery from a Bristol-based potter. Expect the same rotational-style menu as Primeur, only with an emphasis on fresh British seafood.

What we say:

It was only a matter of time before Primeur's team opened a second restaurant, having confirmed themselves as one of North London's top restaurant spots. With seafood provided by Cornish and Devonian fishermen, Westerns Laundry produce British dishes with Asian and southern European influences, think scallops, mackerel and sea bass. Wine is stored in an exposed cellar in the restaurant with a focus on bottles from small-scale international producers, as well as specialist beers and gin and tonics.
