If music is the food of love, then it's just about the right time we welcomed another great artist to Park's Edge!
Following the success of our Jazz & soul night featuring Ruby Wood in October, we are very proud to bring established artist Louise Golbey to the setting. You may well have heard of Louise many a time before. Louise has played at Glastonbury (BBC Introducing), Isle of Wight Festival, The Big Feastival, Cornbury and CarFest, recorded at Maida Vale for the BBC and supported and shared the stage with many established artists including Ed Sheeran (who is also in one of her music videos), Katy B, Paloma Faith, George Benson (Kenwood House), Roberta Flack, En Vogue (The Indigo2) and most recently both Omar and Heatwave at The Jazz Cafe.
She as released several EP's, singles and an album and has been getting a lot of support from DJ's on BBC 1 Xtra, 6 Music, Jazz FM, Mi Soul, Radio 2 and radio stations across Europe. Louise was also November's Caffe Nero Artist of The Month last year and on Thursday 21st February we welcome her to Park's Edge!
Complimenting the music will be a short menu of small and large plates from the ala carte dinner menu, alongside the famous Park's Edge signature cocktails, local ales and selection of world wines. We have alcohol free lager and also vegan options on the menu.
Limited Early birds are £5 each, Tickets then go up to £10 each. For those wanting to dine with us ahead of the gig, doors will open at 6.30 pm. Louise's first set will be prompt at 7.30pm and the kitchen will be open throughout the event for food.
Music before and after Louise's set will be provided by Patrick Steele of Mi-soul radio.
