Anthony's musical journey started with his debut EP, ‘Rough Sketch’. The first song he wrote for it was ‘I’ll Be There For You’, written at the tender age of 15, about a girl that "probably didn’t fancy him back." Then, after 2 years of woeful songs, Rubery wrote ‘Ugly When You Lie’ and ‘Both Sides Of The Fence’ about the failing relationships of two mates. Neither was a jibe, just his own personal life wasn’t interesting enough to write about. But then came ‘Intoxicated’, a song about a girl at a gig in a church hall. For the record, he didn’t miss the last bus home, but he did chase it for a fair while, and it was all her fault. Anyway, after multiple failed attempts to do it himself, Anthony sat down at Motaka Studios and recorded everything. Rubery finished writing ‘Talk To Me’ in the studio. "I won’t go into the inspiration for that one, if you don’t get it, you’re probably too young." 'Rough Sketch' was released in March 2017, the 1st milestone of his career.
The 2nd came that Summer. Intoxicated was entered into Cambridge 105 Unsigned Chart. It broke 2 records and joined the chart’s Hall Of Fame. This prompted his next release, Grateful.
After taking a little break to write new stuff, Anthony dropped ‘Temptations’ in March 2018. A song about, well, temptations.

If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
