A Little about Alicai Harley...
Alicaì (Alla-Kai) Harley, also known as the ‘Hot Shot’, is a 24-year-old Singer-Rapper who originates from Kingston, Jamaica, but lives in and performs her artistry out of London, UK. Alicaì’s sound is very unique! It has been described as a fusion of Dance-Hall, Pop, R&B, and UK Grime. Alicaì has said: “I heard someone say my sound is ‘Bubble Gum Dance-Hall’. I like that because I do have many flavours .... haha”. Alicai’s career is taking strides after creating a buzz for herself amongst the underground and radio scene from her ‘Hot Shot Tuesday’ campaign, The campaign that brought us her hit single. Both BBC 1Xtra & Capital Xtra have listed her as #OneToWatchFor2019 A aside from her singles Alicai is known for her Instagram freestyle where she effortlessly jumps from bars to melodies. One of her freestyles that created a buzz was which she then released as a full track after it becoming such a high demand from her supports. With her blending her unique style with 90’s Dancehall & her pop-like infections hooks, she continues to grow her fan base very rapidly and has blessed us all with her debut EP 'The Red Room Intro: Yard Gyal Inna Britain' which is out now.
