The dust has barely settled on their third venture in Selfridges, but don’t think that’s gonna stop Tonkotsu pressing forward with their latest opening. Set to launch in the heart of Hackney in time for the new year, Tonkotsu round four will bring us the usual blend of lip-smacking ramen dishes and beers from as far afield as Bermondsey and Japan.
What we say:
We love a plate of ramen as much as the next person, which is why we’re buzzing to see the Tonkotsu traction-engine continue to slip through the gears. Set to inject a lovely little dash of Japanese cuisine into Hackney, you’ll find us propping up the 14-seater bar working our way through the sake menu when this one opens its doors in December.
