Petersham Cellar have been working with a outstanding selection of winemakers from Burgundy and are delighted to introduce some of their wine during an exclusive dinner at The Petersham Covent Garden on Tuesday the 31st January 2023 from 19:00 .
About 200 million years ago, Burgundy was part of a vast, tropical sea which created limestone soils, the secret behind the zesty minerality that is a hallmark of Burgundy wines. To the ‘vignerons” (winemakers/ growers), Burgundy is not only the original home of the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir they are famous for, but also the site of the "terroir" that best expresses their character – elegant, aromatic, complex, and highly enjoyable.
Join us for a wonderful wine dinner featuring classic dishes from the seasonal menu at The Petersham and let us transport your sense of smell with Burgundy’s elegant, aromatic, and complex wines.
Starting with a vintage sparkling wine for reception, we will sit down to a 4 course meal and enjoy a range of top end Burgundian wines to include some of the most famous names in the wine world - Meursault, Chablis Grand Cru, Nuit St Georges to name but a few. Fine wine at its best.
Our chefs at The Petersham have designed a bespoke menu to compliment every wines that will be served on the night such as a Langoustine and Samphire Gnocchi pairing with Chablis Grand Cru Bougros from Domaine du Colombier , as well as our very own Haye Farm braised beef with truffle mash which would perfectly highlight the pinot noir from Nuit St George Domaine Faiveley and Volnay 1er Cru from Benjamin Leroux estate.
The dinner will end on a French cheese selection along a beautiful Morey St Denis 1er Cru Edouard Delaunay.

7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
