Having been recognised with a best winemaker event award at last year's London Restaurant Festival, we're delighted to welcome Lyme Bay to present October's wine tasting event as part of this year's Festival. Sample 3 different wines, including Brut Reserve Fizz, as Josh Whitlam, Lyme Bay's Key Account Manager, guides you through an invigorating wine tasting session. inamo nibbles will also be served by our head chef!
Lyme Bay make all of the drinks they produce at their boutique winery in East Devon. In England’s very cool climate, the grapes enjoy extremely long growing seasons and very low yields at harvest, which can run well into October. The result is wines with immense freshness and complexity. All grapes are hand-harvested from select sites across the South of England to ensure only the best bunches are picked and sent to the winery. From here, Head Winemaker Liam Idizkowski, experiments with different pressing techniques, yeast strains and fermentation vessels to produce a wide and exciting range of wine styles.
