Description

Fresh from a jam-packed sizzling summer events and catering season, TV chef Jimmy Garcia springboards into a fresh Autumn with his third edition of The Lodge launching in London on Friday 21st October and going right through to the end of February 2017.
 
Set over the cosy winter feasting period, these four months will return the flavours and fun of the Alpine mountains back once again, direct to central Clapham in the shape of this ever popular, fun and immersive restaurant and bar pop up.
 
This year Jimmy has partnered with Verbier to bring another winter of Swiss cheese, Swiss wines and Morand liquors in an amazing space designed to bring the Apres Ski buzz back into the heart of the capital. The Lodge returns with a little makeover of its cosy, Alpine style décor– the perfect antidote to the winter weather. 
 
On Sundays Jimmy will be doing his famous sharing board roasts with bottomless bubbles and 2-4-1 Bloody Mary's and throughout November every Sunday night will bring a quiz with the winner going into a season draw to win an amazing trip to Verbier, alongside other great prizes.
 
Meanwhile, those seeking something a little stronger will not be disappointed, as the popular hot cocktail menu will also be back with a bang with a new and improved bar menu with an extensive cocktail list, both hot and cold - including the popular butter rum, mulled wine and cider, hot kings ginger, apple and mint mojito, to name just a couple.

A word from the chef:
The Lodge welcomes two new chefs this year who will be working alongside Jimmy, they are Ranulph Lees and Alex Cox, former chefs at Nathan Outlaws Michelin Star restaurant, who as you can see below have created an extensive new, exciting menu of small plates, sharers and of course the signature fondue. The menu will once again be a foodie’s paradise, packed with Jimmy favourite fresh produce from key long standing independent supplier partnerships the menu features everything from starters of Duck hearts with confit Garlic, Cripsy Pork Belly with Asian pickles, Gin cured Salmon with Horseradish Yoghurt to shared mains of Baked Turbot, Devilled Kidney's, Cote De Boeuf, Wild Boar apple sausages and not to mention one of The Lodge's most favourite signature dishes not to be missed - The Fondue. This year with the finest West country cheeses (and an option to add wild boar sausages to dunk in the cheese!) all followed up by a delicious selection of the team’s winter desserts, Spiced treacle tart with plum ice cream, Chocolate Mousse with Clementine Marmalade and Lime ice cream and many, many more.

The location is great..but the food is AMAZING!!! So many different flavours united on just one beautiful arranged plate is just overwhelming! Perfect place for both romantic dates and social group dining!

Love this place! Beautiful decor and the perfect place to have a yummy Sunday roast, cheese fondue and bottomless bubbles. We were a table of 6 and did a combo of roast and cheese fondue for table - was nice to have the balance as I think just cheese fondue would be too heavy The baked Alaska to finish was amazing!! visited The Lodge on 20 Nov 2016
