Following a wonderful event filled with stunning food and premium beer in the summer of 2018, Nanban and Brixton bottle shop Ghost Whale have teamed up for a sequel event on Tuesday 16th April 2019.
The beer fanatics behind Ghost Whale returned from an extensive research trip to Belgium with a boot full of premium Belgian beers not often seen in the UK with the sole intention of co-hosting another dinner at Nanban.
Chef Tim Anderson has created five stunning courses of unique, off-menu Japanese soul food which have each been fine tuned to pair perfectly with these rare lambics, saisons and kriek beers.
Come and join Tim, Stuart and Alex for a special dinner to remember. Here’s the full menu and pairings:
Chicken Karaage with Bergamot Ponzu
Beer pairing: Funky Max / Gueuzerie Tilquin - Saison Vignon
Beer pairing: Cantillon - Nath 2018
Wild Garlic Fried Rice with Preserved Seaweed, White Pepper and Lemon
Beer pairing: 3 Fonteinen - Armand & Gaston 2017/18
