Kricket brings Indian food to Brixton.
Having established themselves in a shipping container at Pop Brixton and later opening up in Soho, they have now returned to Brixton to open a permanent restaurant. The archway-venue is 40 cover and also contains a bar.
Expect to find a varied menu of Indian-inspired cooking, delivering vegetable, meat and fish dishes. The menu contains plates like bhel puri, raw mango, taramind, sev and yoghurt, as well as raw salmon with kasundi mustard, green pea and mustard oil, and pickled mooli. As for drinks, there’s wines, bottled beers, and a list of Indian-inspired cocktails, such as the ‘Dark Matter’, mixed from spiced rum, mango, agave, red peppercorn and chilli.
