Flat Earth and Hackney Arts have collaborated to bring you the most delicious Christmas evening in London combining craft + pizza!
Flat Earth has recently been hailed as one of the top 3 pop ups in London, according to Metro. Hackney Arts is an east London creative studio with community at the heart of what they do. They create original experiences and connect artists with their communities.
During your night of crafting and eating (is there anything better?), a talented artist from Hackney Arts will be on hand to give you tips on how to make your best wreath ever, followed by a pizza of your choice.
We’ll be using large living wreaths, along with plastic-free, natural decorations for a more sustainable finish, including pine cones, eucalyptus branches, cinnamon sticks and dried fruits. We’ll also explore using essential oils and adding these to the tips to leave a delicious scent by your door or inside your home.
Once you've put the finishing touches to your wreath, you can pick any of Flat Earth's December pizzas to enjoy. Flat Earth creates unique pizzas using seasonal, fermented and foraged ingredients. The bases are made from a mix of Gilchester's and E5 Bakehouse's organic, heritage grain flour, resulting in an unprocessed dough full of goodness. Taking care to ensure minimal food waste, Flat Earth use the whole vegetable including blitzing up the tops and tails into house pestos and crust dippers. Veg is sourced from Growing Communities - a Soil Association certified collective who grow organic vegetables on their London farms - and cheese is from Neal's Yard Dairy.
Flat Earth offers 100% vegan alternatives to each pizza as well as collaborating with local dairy-free cheese producers and other makers, picklers and creatives within the local area.
