Award winning local author, Mary Lawson, will be talking about her books and her life as a successful novelist at the Black Horse on Tuesday 17 April 2018 at 7.30 pm. Canadian born Mary’s novels, Crow Lake, The Other Side of the Bridge (which was on the National Post's Paperback Fiction Best-Sellers list) and Road Ends are all set in Northern Ontario and were inspired by the landscape on family summer holidays. A distant relative of L M Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables, Mary originally trained as a psychologist, and lives in Kingston. We are delighted that she has agreed to come and talk to us and meet local readers and book club members
