BEER AND BUSKING FEAT. :

THE DREAM // EXODITY // BEN WESTWOOD

Experience the best-emerging talent that London has to offer with ‘Beer and Busking’ at O’Neill’s, Soho. Join us for a night of live music featuring some of the city’s most promising new artists. With a diverse lineup and fresh sounds, this event is a must for anyone looking to discover the best in new music! You can also show your support for the artists by leaving a ‘tip’ during their performance. All proceeds go to War Child UK to help children in areas of conflict.

THE DREAM

The Dream is an indie folk duo inspired by a combination of South-London post-punk, traditional folk, 60s/70s folk and shoegaze.

EXODITY

Exodity is a band of three brothers united by their passion for music, blending emotion with intricate melodies in a unique fusion of alt-rock energy and heartfelt lyricism. Inspired by alt-rock giants like Muse and Rage Against the Machine, and blending pop and indie edges from various artists such as Charlie Winston and Keane.

Since their start in early 2024, four singles have hit streaming platforms: “Fuse: Blown”, “Echoes”, “Down with the Mask”, and “Falling Short”. Two music videos amplify their vision: one for “Down with the Mask” in October 2024, and “Falling Short” in July 2025.

BEN WESTWOOD

Sussex singer-songwriter Ben Westwood is back with his first new music in several years. His new single, soulful ballad Step Into The Light, is produced by Mark Edwards, and taken from Ben’s upcoming album We Are Human. The self-penned 12-track album’s unique style blends soul and folk roots with blues and alternative rock. Ben Westwood’s distinctive voice draws on classic influences – from Motown soul to The Beatles and Leonard Cohen. Ben has released two previous albums and played at venues including the Brighton Dome and Ronnie Scott’s, and received airplay on BBC radio.
“This is music with real emotion. Ben sings from the heart and touches your soul.” Allison Ferns, BBC Sussex

I really like O’Neill’s and I go there very often. I usually bring a group of 8 to 15 women with me, and we genuinely enjoy the place. However, our New Year’s Eve party was disappointing. The venue was extremely overcrowded. Moving around was almost impossible and we literally had to push through people. It felt uncomfortable and unsafe, especially considering this is a large venue in such a central area. There was no proper air conditioning, and in a situation like that, if someone had fainted, there would have been a real risk of people being trampled. My intention was to stay for the midnight toast, but I couldn’t handle the conditions and left at 11:40 pm. This was my first and will be my last time attending a large-scale New Year’s Eve event there. I do not recommend spending New Year’s Eve at the venue under these circumstances.
