Kevin is an escaped psychiatric patient.

Millie is a six year old with a mouth like a sandblaster.

Granny doesn’t stand a chance.

Escaped psychiatric patient Kevin Haggerty is not pleased about his diagnosis, even less pleased about being on a section of the Mental Health Act, and distinctly upset about being told he is not the reincarnation of the pharaoh Ramses 2nd. On his way to Egypt, via the Tesco Express, he stumbles across the nemesis to all his plans: Millie. Together they embark on a journey that will change their lives forever.

“A mind-roasting bipolar joy-ride… Gee is a super-energetic, uber-likeable, highly gifted writer/performer… Kevin is presented wacky warts and all. We laugh at his quixotic delusions and misadventures. Yet Gee is careful to present Simon in a respectful, empathetic manner. Indeed, Kevin is a sight more likeable than half the “normals” in this show…Gee is also a performance poet, so tKevin, King of Egypt offers reams of rich, poetic language from a man who’s in love with words. This a moving, funny, deeply human show not to be missed.” Victoria Times Colonist ★★★★½

“Weird… heartfelt… laugh out loud funny and so intelligent… an hour-long lesson in empathy... one of the most animated guys you’ll ever see.” CBC, Canada
“Uproarious journey… hilarious... liberating... that doesn't even cover the half of it!” London Pub Theatres ★★★★★

"Leicester's funniest export… staggering charisma… an excellent script writer.” Leicester Mercury
"Funny and rude… there is no letdown in the entertainment value… think of McMurphy from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest escaping for an eventful night on the town.” Winnipeg Free Press ★★★★

"Gee plays several characters in this story of lost souls… few people can tell a shaggy dog story with as much comic detail, energy and pizzazz as this talented Brit.” Calgary Herald
"Just the right amount of gravitas, skepticism, gusto and wit!” Edmonton Journal ★★★★

"Hilarious… bound to simultaneously break hearts and lift spirits.” Vue Weekly, Alberta ★★★★

"
A barmy tale… Gee does a wonderful job portraying all the colourful Brits in this literally crazy story.” Gig City, Alberta ★★★★
