The Bermondsey Beer Mile is full of brewing history from the past and now home to a fantastic range of breweries leading the new wave of craft beer in the UK.
This 'Micro-Tour' introduces you to 3 different microbreweries in the space of 1 hour - with an expert beer guide!
You'll enjoy tutored tastings at 3 different brewery stops and these will differ depending on the day and time of your tour but will be 3 from the list of fantastic breweries below:
Southwark Brewery, London Beer Factory, Hiver Beers, Anspach and Hobday, Moor Vaults, Brew by Numbers or Bianca Road.
3 tastings included - that's one at each stop.
Your guide will meet you outside the Marquis of Wellington Pub on Druid Street then take you on a journey around the area where you will learn about the history of brewing in the area, the famous drink style of the area - The 'Porter' style, and get to taste 3 different styles of beer in total.
This is a great way to introduce you to the area and sample a good range of beer styles and gain some knowledge behind the beers and breweries.
Please note - this is not a 'pub crawl'. This is an educational walk. It takes place in all weathers and walking distance is small - 5 mins between stops. Flat route and accessible venues.
