Never been so disappointed with an evening out. We came on Friday 14 Oct and the following was wrong: 1. it's winter, it's cold, yet you allow adults and children to go in & out of the restaurant doors, leaving them wide open and giving seated guests a chill. The lady next to us was wearing her cost for dinner. Suggest you close these doors and they use the central pub door. We got moved after complaining 2. the music was so loud we had to shout at each other across the table and ask for the music to be turned down. The waitresses were also shouting information at us so we could hear. We're supposed to be in a pub and restaurant not a night club 3. The main meal came very quickly and we were just finishing our starters, the table hadn't even been cleared 4. We asked for a medium cooked steak - it came medium-to-rare. We sent it back. The 2nd steak was even more rare but by this point I had lost my appetite and interest It was supposed to be a nice night out with a family member visiting from the USA and I can't explain how disappointed I am, having been there a few times to just have a few drinks at the bar. Not sure how you will encourage me to come back. visited Alba on 14 Oct 2016

Booked a table at Alba for Father's Day. The food was really great (my Neopolitan brother-in-law totally approved of the pizzas) and the service was fantastic. We'll definitely be returning.
