Inspired by Southwark’s 2019 Black History Month themes of Music, Dance, Literature and Heritage, llluminated Arts is proud to present an illustrated musical talk on London’s C18th Black History, delivered by Adjani Salmon and Taufiq Bakiranze (The Lit Race) with lyrics by Melissa Jo Smith (Peckham War Horse Project) and music by Idris Rahman and Robin Hopcraft (Soothsayers). The evening will be a lively introduction to some of London’s most popular C18th characters of all classes, told through song.
This event is funded by Southwark Council as part of Black History Month and will be BSL interpreted.

7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
