The Fellow - London Pub Review

The Fellow - London Pub Review

Pushy pubs may often seem to make up the bones of the London hospitality industry, but there's sweet digs in King's Cross that have no time for that tanked up temper. Humble, heaving with charming hosts and great for a date, The Fellow gets snaps...

Food great as always, however service perhaps a bit disorganised, the team seem new. visited The Fellow on 23 Oct 2016

Well, apart from that fact that they claimed to not have my reservation on their system it was good. Feel like it was a bit more organised when the old manager was there though. visited The Fellow on 21 Oct 2016

Absolutely brilliant night at The Fellow. Reliable booking service , plenty of space reserved for my friends and splendid bar staff. Food was good too -try the platters. visited The Fellow on 21 Oct 2016

Staff nice and atmosphere was great......... but the food was very very very salty and arrived later than requested, Also I am sure we were charged for more drinks than we ordered (but I can't be sure of that without further research) visited The Fellow on 20 Oct 2016

Still not a bad pub, but the quality of the food as detoriated since I first started using it. The menu choice has gone down, and the braised ox cheeks were far too tough to be enjoyable. My glass of malbec also didn't taste brilliant. However, it still feels more clean than many pubs, particularly the loos, and we didn't have to wait too long for food or queue for hours at the bar. The staff kept opening the door directly behind me though, leading to me feeling pretty chilly, particularly given it's the end of October! I hope the pub can bring itself back up to the level it used to be! visited The Fellow on 20 Oct 2016

Excellent and welcoming staff. All very attentive. Only downside is that downstairs the music was too loud so we 3 diners ended up with sore throats because of having to almost shout to hear each other. Great choice of food for early evening.. visited The Fellow on 18 Oct 2016

I have to be honest, it was one of the worst meals i've eaten in a long time and really quite expensive given the poor quality. the squid was chewy to the point of inedible, the prawn salad was basically a prawn cocktail, the steak was undercooked, the chips were cold and the 'sauce' that came with it was a big blob of butter. also the presentation from awful - a lot of iceberg lettuce thrown unlovingly on the plate. my friend's ox cheek was so tough he couldn't even cut it up. I'm sorry to be so negative but for £100 this was pretty appalling. visited The Fellow on 19 Oct 2016

Fantastic venue, brilliant staff and really high-quality food and drink. The function room was set up perfectly for our soiree and every effort was made by the employees to make our party great. We were very well looked after, I have zero complaints. fmcman visited The Fellow on 03 Sep 2016

Visited a couple of weeks back and had a great time, the dishes are really rich, wholesome gastro goodies and my duck was such a tender little nugget! They've got some lovely wines and the staff are a bloody credit to them!
