Biography
Dominic Canty was born in South-East London, where he still lives. With a passion for music and stand-up comedy, he could often be seen on the London circuit. ‘I love to laugh and entertain,’ he says. Yet, it was after enrolling in a creative-writing course that he turned his focus to fiction. Four years later, his debut novel – Dead Men Should Know Better (which introduces rookie MI6 agent Bristo Trabant) – was released, and is described by South London Press as: ‘A barnstorming, laugh-out-loud, bulldozer of a spy-thriller from one of London’s most exciting new writers.’ He was also voted a ‘Guardian Readers’ Recommended Author’, and received great acclaim on his highly-successful, 27-date 'Shark On The Road' promotional tour, which, with his bright-red, sign-written van complete with seven-foot black shark upon the roof, visited every corner of the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
Dominic and Bristo are building quite a following. Jump in and join the fun, because Book 2 is just around the corner...
