Pepe Belmonte is a folk-blues guitar player and singer song-writer. He grew up in Co. Cork on the West coast of Ireland. His musical influence meanders through Irish, Malian and Hawaiian folk to the pre-war blues of Chicago along The Delta and down through the lyrical landscape of Dylan, Mitchell and Young. Mississippi John Hurt meets JJ Cale meets Nick Drake.

Music from his debut album ‘THE HERMIT’S WALTZ’ make up the soundtrack to the independent feature film, ‘ The Hour of Living’ in which Pepe also appears as ‘The Singer’. With nostalgic and contemporary tones you will be transported to 70s deep swamp America, the Irish countryside and the streets of London on a wave of rock, folk and blues.

SUPPORT : JASON MCNIFF -

Jason McNiff is a London based Yorkshireman of Irish and Polish descent. He has made five records of what is loosely described as Folk or Americana, yet there is something very British about him. As Time Out attests, “McNiff’s quiet, intimate, fragile-sounding vocals draw you into his world– an almost timeless place, through which he drifts, a romantic loner, a dreamer, at home with the blues.” He is often touted as one of the UK's most overlooked musical treasures - a great songwriter and top-notch finger-style guitarist. His album, April Cruel (Fledg’ling) was nominated for best album in the alt.country category at the Independent Music Awards

Support : Dan Raza -

Dan Raza is one of the mainstays on the London singer-songwriter and folk roots scene. He has been praised by artists such as Chris Farlowe, Slaid Cleaves, Mary Gauthier and Jackie Oates and had a song included on Neil Young’s ‘Living With War’ website.

His distinctive approach has won him a following across the UK and abroad as he has taken his songs on the road performing solo and opening for Joan Armatrading, Badly Drawn Boy, Alejandro Escovedo, Cara Dillon and The Sadies, amongst others.
