Description

The Victoria is a friendly Dalston local famed for its live music programme. Located within a short stroll of Dalston Junction and Hackney Downs, the venue has been hosting memorable gigs for years on end, and is part of the very fabric of East London’s musical scene.

These days, the venue is owned and operated by Jaguar Shoes – the East London art collective –who have taken great steps to rejuvenate the pub area too. A stunning 50s bar island takes centre stage, where guests gather to sample a fine array of classic cocktails, locally brewed beers and continental wines. The Vic frequently shuffles the pack in the kitchen, with guest chefs taking temporary residencies to offer something different upon every visit.

A traditional pillar of Dalston’s social scene, The Vic is a friendly and accommodating boozer which retains its prestige as one of the area’s best places to catch a gig.

Yeah! Grills is the latest venture from the guys behind Yeah! Burger. Serving up super fresh summer style goodies straight off their custom built argentine style parilla as well as all their classic burgers. Expect ethically sourced meat and fish grilled to perfection, zesty burger toppings and of course soft yolked scotch eggs.

Make sure to check out The Victoria's sister venues, Dream Bags Jaguar ShoesHand of Glory, The Old Shoreditch Station and recently opened RedYellowBlue.

Slow service, too load (drum practice), too dark and a bit smelly! They also forgot a burger from our order...not as good as our last visit. visited The Victoria on 26 Oct 2016

Not impressed by the booking system on here as I turned up hoping to have a birthday lunch and drinks with a group of friends only to find a full on, large children's party going on. Apparently the owner had booked the place and they hadn't received my booking. It left me scrambling for an alternative and madly contacting friends to re-direct them. As it was, we ended up at Farr's on Dalston Lane which seemed like a much nicer pub visited The Victoria on 23 Oct 2016

I had my birthday celebration at the pub on a Saturday evening since I really like the atmosphere in this pub (well first time it reminded me of David Lynch's movies). Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make me and my guests comfortable and made our experience great! Food is great as well and staff were happy to recommend top dishes! mar visited The Victoria on 01 Oct 2016

Brilliant night at the MoshiMoshi christmas party, no matter how rammed it was. Always a really good buzz inside and the drinks aren't too out of this world in terms of prices. Great gig venue at the back too!
