The Marquess of Anglesey is a wonderful traditional pub in the heart of Covent Garden.

Directly opposite the Royal Opera House, it is excellently located whether you are sightseeing, theatre going, shopping, working in the area or planning a night out on the town. Both the Marquess pub and restaurant offer an exciting fresh, seasonal menu of British classics and specials.

To complement your meal, you can enjoy a fabulous selection of wines and Young's finest real ales. The comfortable bar area is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing glass of wine or cold pint of beer and the restaurant area is a marvelous venue for private dinner parties, functions or celebrations. Going to the theatre? They serve food all day until 10pm all week and until 8pm on Sundays, so you can enjoy the excellent menu and still make the start of the show.

I really like this youngs pub, bang in the heart of London, Covent garden does a few good pubs but this is my favourite, its cosy, open fire, good tasty food, great service and all together a classic london pub experience, just how it use to be.
