Embarking on her own solo-project from highly acclaimed band The Magic Numbers, Michele Stodart has temporarily hung up her bass and recorded her debut solo album, Wide-Eyed Crossing, out October 22nd on Keepsake Records. The new album dishes up a veritable banquet of delicacies on a debut that owes as much to the strum of the acoustic guitar as it does to the richness of the jazz vocal. Head down to The Islington to see Michele play an intimate show and experience the new album sound up close and personal before it really takes off.
