London's First Port Pop-Up Opens in Soho

Churchill's Port House opens as London's first pop-up port bar, a brand spanking new drinking concept that brings something wonderfully unique to the pop up bar scene.

Churchill's Port House opens as London's first port-only pop-up bar.

Guests are invited to try a number of ports, each of which have been paired with a Tapas dish; whether it's a Charcuteries board for two, featuring the finest acorn-fed Iberico and Cecina meats, paired with Churchill's emblematic White Port, or a passion-fruit cheesecake, paired with Churchill's 10 year old Tawny - one will certainly find something to suit. It is hoped that through these sweet pairings, guests will discover the versatility of this magnificent dessert wine, and its rich flavours will feature more prominently on dinner tables throughout the city.

‘If out of sort we stick to port,

The medicine of soul,

A ruby gleam - a tawny dream,

The vintage is the goal.’

Churchill's Port House opens every Thursday, Friday and Saturday for lunch and supper. Churchill's Port House is open until 22nd February 2014, at 28 Greek Street, London, W1D 5DE
