Mafalda is one of those DJs you stumble across and instantly fall in love with. Originally from Portugal, Mafalda moved to London in 2014 and became a regular at Plastic People and early You’re a Melody parties.
Having played Worldwide FM with highly esteemed DJ Giles Peterson to her performances at: Dimensions, Sunfall, Worldwide Festival, Nuits Sonores, Dekmantel and Field day; Mafalda has cemented herself as one of the most exciting selectors in Europe.
Jump forward to now, Mafalda is running her own label, Melodies International with Floating Points which is rapidly becoming one of the most highly regarded in the world. Furthermore, her latest Resident Advisor podcast was named as one of the mixes of the year by Crack Magazine.
She now organises the You’re A Melody parties – from humble beginnings at Plastic People to a regular residency at the revered Lion & The Lamb. The You’re A Melody party is now firmly on the global scene.
