Lovebirds is the solo project of Berlin's Sebastian Döring. In what could only be described as "a blast from the past with house steroids packing serious production muscle", Lovebirds' sound is like taking trip back to the 70s and 80s but riding in a gleaming futuristic spaceship.
His biggest single 'Want You In My Soul' accumulated 4 million views on YouTube, was named Single of The Month by Bill Brewster and was the best selling single on Traxsource in 2011. The track was ubiquitous. Nu-disco producers Prins Thomas, Ashley Beedle and Jimpster offered raved reviews for Lovebirds.
As his alias, Kneedeep, Sebastian has remixed electronic, house and disco heroes Jamiroquai, Bob Sinclair, David Morales and many others; even winning the prestigious “best remixer” category in the 2002 German Dance Awards.
The nu-disco genius has also released on prestigious labels Freerange, Defected and Lazy Days. As he continues to embark on his funky futuristic spaceship, Lovebirds goes from strength to strength and we are delighted to be hosting him this Autumn.
