Following "Boy's Own” takeover at Farr Festival this summer, we are delighted to bring Nancy Noise and Daren Nunes to Shoreditch for one last dance. Support on the night comes from Ma Dahu (Farr Festival), Antepop (Inverted Audio) and the Fortune brothers.

For those not in the know ‘Boy’s Own' was the original village newspaper of the London acid house scene. Founded by Terry Farley and co-run with Andrew Weatherall, Cymon Eckel, Steve Mayes, Steven Hall, Pete Heller and the rest of the crew they ran raves, released and produced records and printed a seminal, satirical fanzine that traced a very British link between the football terraces, dancefloors, youth fashion and the picket line in a way that no other publication would touch upon.

With their tagline: "Boy's Own: the only fanzine that gets right on one, matey!" Farley and his mates raved themselves to the heart of the acid house scene. Which, arguably, is the most unique British youth culture ever, given its impact and lack of guitars and violence.

DAREN NUNES (BOY'S OWN)

Daren Nunes is one of the co founders of Dogmatik Records with Spencer Nunes & Alex Arnott. He has an extensive back catalogue of music featuring collaborations with Alex Arnout. Hosting numerous Dogmatik parties in ibiza, Barcelona and London, Daren is a true house head.

NANCY NOISE (BOY'S OWN)

Nancy Noise is one of those modest people that feels no need to shout (though she does like the odd "Arreeeeebba") - she loves music, playing at parties for people that care and keeping her very original style of DJing alive and well.

MA DAHU (FARR FESTIVAL)

Ma Dahu is the alias of Oscar Thornton, Farr Festival founder and director. Having grown up in the Mediterranean, Oscar was influenced by mid-90's Balearic house, finding its way from the island of Ibiza. Now as a DJ Oscar plays stripped back deep house, vinyl only.

ANTEPOP (INVERTED AUDIO / FARR FESTIVAL)

Under the alias of Antepop goes Tom Durston, founder and editor-in-chief of London-based music magazine Inverted Audio. Practicing his art through vinyl grooves only, his selections give full vent to extended blends of widescreen electronics, rugged techno and deep house.

If Jungle and Drum & Bass were his first love, Antepop went on to explore a more diverse spectrum, drawing in the far-reaching scope of Inverted Audio's coverage the essence to reinvent himself time after time.

Hosting a monthly residency on South London's Balamii Radio, he recently graced the decks of Farr Festival, Bussey Building, Corsica Studios and Dance Tunnel, whilst sharing the stage with the likes of the DIAL crew, D.K. aka 45 ACP (Antinote/L.I.E.S.), Young Male (White Material), Lena Willikens (Cómeme/Salon des Amateurs), DeepChord (DeepChord/Modern Love), Tasker (Whities), Jon Rust (NTS) and more.
