On our bill this month and fresh back from the Edinburgh Fringe, we bring you comedy from DARREN HARRIOTT, CHEEKYKITA, DARREN WALSH and ESHAAN AKBAR.
DARREN HARRIOTT is one of the most exciting new comedians on the circuit. He has recently supported the likes of Russell Howard, Jimmy Carr and Funmbi Omotayo. Subversive, edgy and bearded, what’s not to love?
“Up-and-coming weirdo” CHEEKYKITA’s one-woman show took 2016’s EdFringe by storm, raking in five star reviews for her oddball comedy and sublime surrealness. Come and see for yourself why she’s been hailed as a “comedy genius… part Alan Partridge meets CBBC”.
UK Pun champ and last year’s winner of Dave’s ‘Funniest Joke of the Fringe’ DARREN WALSH returns to our stage with new material from his one-man Edinburgh show S’Pun.
Joining them is Piccadilly Comedy Club’s New Comedian of the Year, ESHAAN AKBAR. Eshaan will be hitting the Hooray stage for the first time with his slick and charismatic comic style. This is definitely one to watch.
Our line-up of future lovers is completed by powerhouse of the queerlesque scene, the award winning RUBYYY JONES; mercurial minx MISS JONES, celestial body CARMEN MON OXIDE and bionic bombshell BELLA BOOM, creating the unique mix of comedy and burlesque for which Hooray is known and loved.
As ever, the show is brought together by "miniature tour de force" and mummy’s little moonbeam, VICTORIA KEMBER.
And as it's a Thursday, the night will continue till 1:00am with a few dancefloor classics!
