TICKETS WILL GO ON SALE AT 12 NOON, THURSDAY 1ST MARCH 2018
The Tweed Run, world renowned for being the most sartorially impeccable event ever to take place on two wheels, is returning to the streets of London on 5th May 2018, for an special 10th anniversary edition.
The Tweed Run is a one of a kind spectacular bicycle ride, through London’s historic streets, with a prerequisite that participants wear their best tweed and stylish cycling attire.
This year’s scenic 12-mile route is a special edition in line with Canal & River Trust, following London’s beautiful canal path for part of the ride and will take in some of the city's finest landmarks along the way. Participants can expect a leisurely day cycling with intermittent breaks for a spot of tea and a bite to eat at in a beautiful park opposite the canal, with special barges dispensing a whole host of delicious comestibles, accompanied by live music and non-alcoholic cocktail bars, finishing up in Clerkenwell at Cycle Revolution Festival.
From 4pm, weary Tweed Run riders will cross the finish line and be welcomed by a bustling village full to the brim with local cycle vendors and shops, innovative inventions, cutting edge lifestyle brands, street food, live music and cocktails, set to the backdrop of cycle-centric entertainment.
Once all riders have arrived, the customary humorous closing ceremony will then take place with prizes awarded for the best-dressed man and woman, smartest bicycle and finest moustache, among others and guests will be able to relive the ride, catch up with other participants and indulge in a well earned cocktail or two until dusk.
Tickets to the Tweed Run are £30 and go on sale on Thursday 1st March at 12:00 noon. We expect tickets to sell out very quickly, so we advise being poised at your computer promptly before noon.
We do hope you can join us.
