The Prince of Wales Brixton

The Prince of Wales pub & POW form a large music venue with two-tier outdoor roof terrace in Brixton. A great location for late night drinking and dancing. The venue was fine, 1 would only pay to see 1 out of the 4 again, the young Swedish comic. The 1st one up was downright offensive making highly inappropriate comments on mental health. He seemed as if he was either stoned or really just could not be bothered. There were a group of 5 of us. 2 left half way through due to both the 1st act on & they were also offended by one of the jokes the host made re Coronavirus which they found racist. I’ve not been to one of the comedy nights there before. I won’t be going again.

Hello, shame you didn't enjoy the show - everyone is different and comedy is subjective - as you can see from other reviews of the same weekend other customers really liked the night. Each week is unique and one of the great things about live stand-up is that almost anything can happen.
