West End LIVE 2026 Is Returning To Trafalgar Square With Free Performances Of London’s Biggest Musicals

West End LIVE brings London's best musicals to the stage.

London has always loved a bit of theatre. From the bright lights of the West End to long-running musicals that attract millions every year, the city’s theatre scene remains one of its biggest draws. And every summer, that energy spills into the streets for one huge (and totally free) festival. That’s right, West End LIVE is returning to Trafalgar Square this June.

Described as “Glastonbury for theatre lovers,” the two-day event sees casts from more than 50 West End productions perform live in front of tens of thousands of fans.

West End LIVE will take place on Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st of June, 2026.

The magic of West End LIVE will take place in London's iconic Trafalgar Square, WC2N 5DN. 

Do I Need Tickets To Attend West End LIVE?

No, you don't need tickets to attend West End LIVE. This is a free event that is available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

What Time Does West End LIVE Start?

  • Saturday gates open: approximately 10.15am

  • Sunday gates open: approximately 11.15am

Crowds on Saturday tend to be massive, so you can expect queues and a one-out, one-in system once capacity is reached. Sunday is usually the calmer of the two days, but you can still expect a big crowd. 

What Is West End LIVE’s Lineup?

The full 2026 lineup is expected to be announced in June 2026, with a more detailed performance schedule arriving a week before the event. We’ll keep you updated here as we find out more information. 

Last year’s lineup included hugely popular productions like:

  • Les Misérables

  • Moulin Rouge! The Musical

  • SIX

Other favourites included Cabaret, Operation Mincemeat, The Devil Wears Prada, and Disney's Hercules.

What Is West End LIVE’s Queue Jump?

For the first time ever, West End LIVE is launching a queue jump competition.

100 people per day will win priority access through a separate entrance, meaning you can skip the main queue and get into the event much faster. You can enter the competition here through their website, just make sure you do it before the 14th of June.
