What we say:

We all know Broadway market is one of East London€™s absolute treasures when it comes to pleasant bars, gourmet pubs, market stalls and interesting local crafts. The Flying Carpet and Secret Garden fits beautifully into the puzzle as a cosy anti-establishment space for drinking fresh cocktails - Whiskey Twists, Kiwi Margaritas, Fresh Apple Martinis- and local beers and espresso. Food can be ordered to their welcoming rooftop space from the below Ephesus Mediterranean Grill Restaurant.

With a ceiling filled with the glow of a dozen Turkish lamps the vibe of The Flying Carpet is spiced with the story-telling romance of Arabian Nights. Still grounded in the modern Shoreditch scene the music favours original rock and roll, 30s-60s r€™n€™b and funk with the aspiration to bring guest DJs every week to have a spin on their eighties mixing decks. The Flying Carpet is a new London pop up bar to keep your eye on throughout summer 2012 as they embark on a creative mission to bring together local arts, literary and music events and conferences at their speakeasy water-hole and secret garden.
