Prohibition pop-up party comes to Clapham hair salon

Forget the debaucherous dance floors of Clapham’s nightclubs, the real party unfolds inside an unassuming hair salon this weekend. A chap called James Bishop is linking up with the guys at Reece 79 to launch Lights Out; a discerning speakeasy affair of live music, flapper glamour and moonshine cocktails.

Reece 79: neighbourhood hair salon by day, discerning cocktail den by night.

With appearances at the Isle of Wight Festival, London Fashion Week and the Olympics in his locker, Bishop has form for hosting awesome pop-up bar experiences. It’s all about the roaring twenties this time around, as this neighbourhood hairdresser hangout becomes a haven for faded prohibition glamour on Saturday 21st March and on the last Saturday of each month thereafter.

Get psyched for an evening of bootlegged booze and vintage tunes inside a unique location, just don’t forget to look up the password on their Twitter feed before you head over.

The Lights Out Cocktail Bar will run between 7.30pm and midnight on Saturday 21st March at Reece 79 Hair Salon, Abbeville Road, SW4. The pop-up will return on the last Saturday of each month thereafter. Entry is free, but is by password only.
