This free outdoor pool also has an onsite sauna, sandpit and deck chairs to sit back and relax.
When London gets a hint of sunshine, you best believe that the entire capital is heading to either Hampstead Heath Ponds or Tooting Bec Lido with flip flops and a tinny in hand. It's safe to say that if you're not lucky enough to own your own private pool like Simon Cowell, or don't fancy forking out £12 to jump on the next train to Brighton, then a London lido is your saving grace.
You do have to pay to use the lidos in the capital, however, which isn't great if you're after a free swim in the sun. The brand-new outdoor lido opening at the Royal Docks this summer is not only free to use, but it also offers some of the best views of the city. Here's everything you need to know about the Summer Splash free lido.
