Currently sitting at 130 Fenchurch Street is Fountain House, which was built between 1954 and 1958, meaning it was one of the first tall buildings to be built after the Blitz. Plans have been put forward to make way for the new skyscraper.

The brand-new building, put forward by Aviva Investors and developers CO-RE, is set to be 31 storeys tall. Other features will include:

  • 600 square metres of public space 
  • Food and drink outlets
  • Retail outlets 
  • A pedestrian connection between Callum Street and Fen Court
  • A garden terrace - the fourth highest in London
  • An indoor cultural space

When Will 130 Fenchurch Street Be Complete?

If planning permissions are accepted by the City of London Corporation, then the demolishment of Fountain House will begin in 2026. Following this, construction on 130 Fenchurch Street is set to be complete by 2030.
