I wanted to love this bottomless brunch, I really did, and I’m honestly not a hard person to please, I know everyone in hospitality is working so hard but this event has left me feeling so sad and disappointed. I booked with 2 friends to celebrate my birthday, paying £50 each. We stood in a huge queue on arrival which I didn’t mind except when it started to eat into our 3 hour slot. We were then led to a table which had no fans or drinking glasses, whilst all the others around us did. No stress, but had to ask 3 different members of staff for some glasses, and while waiting we were sat staring at a bottle of Prosecco and jug of water that we couldn't serve on one of the hottest days of the year, while watching everyone around us get started while we waited. 10 minutes later glasses arrived and we finally got started. Soon after, the other tables started getting served glasses of orange juice which never did make its way to us. Again, asked multiple members of staff for some juice, finally one glass arrives a while later and and get asked to pay for it despite seeing all the other tables getting theirs for free. £2, whatever, no big deal we paid it and just wanted to enjoy the day. Under the impression there would be some music, sadly it was just a silent disco with headphones, meaning you have to choose between listening to music or talking to friends, which didn’t feel very social. The food included in the brunch didn’t arrive until 15 minutes before the end of our session, and while being served we were basically told to hurry up because they would be closing shortly, which made it pretty hard to enjoy the meal. Another worrying detail; the bathroom had no running water, no flushing toilets, just a bucket of water to wash hands, which in these pandemic times I found absolutely crazy, especially on such a hot day. All in all I’m really disappointed, I was looking forward to this day to celebrate my birthday with friends but it just left us feeling ripped off. This brunch really wasn’t worth anything close to the amount we paid and I won’t be returning, sorry.
